Government Agencies Intensify Crackdown on Drug Trafficking

Karachi: Relevant government agencies are continuing their action against drug trafficking. Forty-six cases were registered nationwide, and fifty-seven drug dealers were arrested last month.

According to Radio Pakistan, over the same period, authorities seized over two hundred and sixty-two kilograms of heroin, five hundred and twenty-two kilograms of hashish, seventy-two kilograms of meth, six hundred and nineteen kilograms of opium, and over forty-four kilograms of other narcotics across the country. These concerted efforts highlight the ongoing commitment of government agencies to combat the drug trade and curb the proliferation of illegal narcotics.
