Government Announces Reduction in Petroleum Prices

Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products for the coming fortnight.

According to Radio Pakistan, a notification has been issued confirming that the price of petrol has been decreased by fifty paisas, setting the new price at two hundred and fifty-five rupees and sixty-three paisas per litre. Additionally, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by five rupees and thirty-one paisas per litre. Light diesel oil will now cost two rupees and forty-seven paisas less, while the price of superior kerosene oil has been decreased by three rupees and fifty-three paisas.

These new prices are effective starting today, providing relief to consumers across the country.
