Islamabad, February 09, 2023 (PPI-OT):Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has called upon media to abstain from publishing and airing fake news originating from unauthentic sources. Talking to newsmen at the Parliament House in Islamabad, she said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is spreading fake news about the government’s ongoing negotiations with the IMF, which harm the national interests. The Information Minister said spreading fake news is in nobody’s interest.
She said the government is trying to renegotiate the agreement, signed by the PTI regime with the IMF, to provide maximum relief to the masses. Marriyum Aurangzeb said the coalition government has made concerted efforts to save the country from default.
