Government Offers Cooperation with Provinces to Combat Terrorism, Says Information Minister

Islamabad: The federal government is prepared to collaborate with provincial authorities to address terrorism and ensure law and order across the country, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar informed the Senate.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar, speaking in response to a point of order, emphasized the ongoing communication between the federal and provincial governments regarding the security situation. He urged provincial governments to implement Safe City projects to help curb terrorist activities within their jurisdictions.

The Senate will reconvene tomorrow morning.
