Government to Launch Five-Year Economic Transformation Plan Tomorrow

Lahore: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal announced that the National Economic Transformation Plan for the next five years will be launched tomorrow. The announcement was made during the passing out ceremony of the officers of the 47th Specialized Training Program of the Pakistan Administration Service in Lahore.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Iqbal emphasized the need for Pakistan to address several critical factors to ensure future development and progress. He highlighted the importance of focusing resources on promoting an export-based economy and paying attention to e-commerce sectors such as automation, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence, which are anticipated to significantly shape future economic landscapes.

Iqbal also stressed the necessity for Pakistan to integrate its human resources with emerging technologies. He urged civil servants to utilize their capabilities effectively to manage public issues, emphasizing that civil service is a significant responsibility rather than just a job.
