Government Vows to Address Power Shortage in Gilgit-Baltistan and Gwadar

Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, chaired a meeting of the Prime Minister’s special committee to review a 1.9 billion rupee water supply project in Gwadar city. During the meeting, he stressed the government’s commitment to addressing the power shortage issues affecting the residents of Gilgit-Baltistan and Gwadar.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted that the Prime Minister has instructed that energy projects crucial to the needs of Gilgit-Baltistan be prioritized and completed within the specified timelines.
