Governor of Sindh Announces IT Course Quota and Laptops for Gilgit-Baltistan Youth

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri announced the allocation of a quota for the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan in ongoing IT courses under the Governor’s initiative and promised to provide laptops. The announcement was made during an Independence Day ceremony at the University of Karachi, where the Governor also performed a traditional dance with students from Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Sindh Governor House, the Governor congratulated the residents of Gilgit-Baltistan, acknowledging their struggle for freedom and their contributions to Pakistan’s development. He emphasized the region’s mineral wealth and the bravery and hospitality of its people. Governor Tesuri also visited the University of Karachi’s admission guidance camp, where he interacted with students and addressed their concerns regarding transport and fees. He instructed the university authorities to resolve these issues and praised the institution’s role in promoting higher education.
