Govt Accelerates Efforts to Resume Flights at D.I Khan Airport

Dera ismail khan: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has announced that efforts are being intensified to restore commercial operations at Dera Ismail Khan Airport. During a recent visit to the facility, he emphasized that the airport would soon accommodate ATR flights once the pending development work is finalized.

According to Radio Pakistan, officials from the Pakistan Airports Authority provided a briefing on the current status and rehabilitation efforts at the airport. They highlighted the steps being taken to ensure the airport’s readiness for commercial use.

Speaking to media representatives, Faisal Karim Kundi informed that the runway carpeting has been completed, and additional work is ongoing to resume regular flight services. The restoration of D.I Khan Airport aims to enhance connectivity and facilitate travel for the region’s residents.
