Govt Affirms Commitment to Press Freedom, Congratulates Lahore Press Club Leadership

Lahore: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has reiterated the government’s commitment to freedom of speech and press, emphasizing its importance in democratic governance. In a statement, Tarar extended his congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the Lahore Press Club.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar assured that the PML-N government is dedicated to supporting the welfare of journalists, acknowledging their crucial role in fostering democratic values and upholding the rule of law. The Minister expressed optimism about the newly elected officials of the Lahore Press Club, hoping they will continue to advance the interests of journalists.
