Govt Committed to Supporting Disaster-Affected Communities: NDMA

Shangla: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has distributed ex-gratia assistance of two million rupees each to the bereaved families of 34 coal mine workers who were killed in a mining incident in Balochistan. The cheques were handed over in Shangla, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, by an NDMA team.

According to Radio Pakistan, the federal assistance through NDMA reflects the Government’s solidarity with the bereaved families and its commitment to supporting communities affected by disasters and tragedies.
