Govt Committed to Supporting Peace Efforts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Talal

Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has affirmed that the Federal Government is extending all possible support to foster peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He shared these remarks while engaging with a parliamentary delegation that included members from different political factions of the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, Talal Chaudhry highlighted the invaluable sacrifices made by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism. He noted that these sacrifices are unforgettable and emphasized the need for a national consensus and a coordinated strategy to conquer terrorism and ensure long-lasting peace in the region.

The Minister also urged lawmakers to bolster the nation’s counterterrorism measures through effective legislative actions, underscoring the critical role of lawmaking in strengthening peace initiatives.
