Govt Continuing Action Against Drug Trafficking

Islamabad: Relevant government departments are continuing their action against drug trafficking. Twenty-five cases were registered and twenty drug dealers were arrested across the country during the past week.

According to Radio Pakistan, during this period, authorities seized 7.96 kilograms of heroin, 66.08 kilograms of hashish, 56.99 kilograms of meth, 2633.17 kilograms of opium, and 62.26 kilograms of other narcotics.

Efforts to curb drug trafficking have been intensified, reflecting the government’s commitment to tackling this serious issue. The large quantities of narcotics seized indicate a significant disruption in illegal drug operations.

The government departments involved in these operations continue to work tirelessly to curb drug-related activities and ensure the safety and well-being of citizens.
