Govt decides to import 50% items through Gwadar port

Pakistan has decided to import fifty percent items including wheat, sugar and fertilizer through Gwadar port.

The rate of exports from this port will be further increased in future.

The Gwadar port is an international trade hub for Pakistan as well as a strategic asset.

The employment of the people of Balochistan and the economic stability of the province depend on the full functioning of Gwadar Port.

The full functioning of Gwadar Port will also reduce the burden of imports and exports on Karachi Port.

The foreign exchange generated from Gwadar Port will have a positive impact on the lives of the local population.

After the activation of Gwadar Port, there will be a clear reduction in the poverty line in the province and there will be a significant reduction in unemployment.

Locals will be given preference for jobs at Gwadar Port.
