Govt Decides to Maintain Current Petroleum Prices

Islamabad: The government has decided to maintain the current prices of petrol and high-speed diesel until further notice. This decision comes amidst ongoing discussions about fuel pricing and its impact on the economy.

According to Radio Pakistan, a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy stated that the price of petrol will remain steady at 299.50 rupees per liter. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel will continue to be 311.47 rupees per liter. The decision aims to provide stability in the fuel market and avoid fluctuations that could affect both consumers and businesses.

The announcement has garnered attention as it comes at a time when many countries are adjusting fuel prices due to global market changes. The government’s decision to maintain the existing prices reflects its approach to managing domestic fuel costs without imposing immediate changes.
