Islamabad: The government has announced that the Ninth and Tenth of Moharram, which fall on the fifth and sixth of this month, will be observed as public holidays in commemoration of Ashura.
According to Radio Pakistan, a notification from the cabinet division was issued on Thursday to formalize this decision.
