Govt Desires Negotiations With PTI Proceed In Positive Manner

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has stated that the government desires negotiations with PTI to proceed in a positive manner. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he clarified that there will be no deal or NRO on corruption.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister emphasized that the one hundred and ninety million pounds Al-Qadir trust case is the mega corruption scandal in the country’s history. He accused the PTI founder, along with his wife Bushra Bibi and Farah Gogi, of plundering billions of rupees without any legitimate source of income.

The Information Minister also referred to the World Economic Forum’s report on Pakistan’s economy, highlighting reductions in policy rate and inflation as significant achievements. He noted that there has been a positive sentiment in the country over the last ten months, with increasing foreign investments.
