Govt Extends Comprehensive Support to Petroleum Investors: Ali Pervaiz

Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has announced that the government is extending comprehensive support to both local and foreign investors within the petroleum sector. This statement came during a meeting with Ali Taha Al-Temimi, the Country Manager of Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company, who visited the minister in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, Ali Taha Al-Temimi expressed his company’s intention to engage in the offshore bidding round in Pakistan. This move signifies a growing interest from international companies in exploring Pakistan’s offshore petroleum potential.

Ali Pervaiz Malik welcomed the interest demonstrated by the Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company, emphasizing that such participation is crucial for advancing Pakistan’s energy sector. The minister’s remarks underscore the government’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for investment and exploration activities in the petroleum industry.
