Govt Extends Gas Supply to Urea Sector Until September 30

Islamabad: The government has announced the extension of gas supply to the urea sector until September 30 this year. This decision aims to ensure the continued availability of urea in the market.

According to Radio Pakistan, the decision was made during a meeting of the committee formed by the Prime Minister to maintain urea price stability. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Friday.

The committee expressed satisfaction with the current stock levels of urea and the stability of its prices, highlighting the importance of this extension in maintaining these conditions. The move is expected to support the agriculture sector by ensuring a steady supply of urea, which is crucial for crop production.
