Govt Focuses on Cyber-Resilient Pakistan: Shaza

Islamabad: Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced that the government is making efforts to build a cyber-resilient Pakistan. She addressed a ceremony focused on cyber security, acknowledging the challenges that come with increased digitization and emphasizing the priority of creating a safe digital ecosystem.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the government’s efforts to enhance the protection of citizens’ personal data. Shaza Fatima noted that nearly all federal government departments have shifted to digital governance and a paperless system. She further explained that the current work-from-home policy is boosting the use of digital tools.
