Govt Focusing on Development of IT Sector with SIFC Support

Karachi: Government with the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is focusing on the development of IT sector. A new ICT training portal has been introduced to enhance the IT skills of the youth.

According to Radio Pakistan, there is a plan to provide hands-on experience in advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Cyber-security to the youth. Chinese company Huawei has indicated support for advanced technologies and training programs.

The establishment of training centers in Karachi and the expansion of the program nationwide are also under consideration.
