Govt Fully Supporting Local Manufacturing: Haroon

Lahore: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries, Haroon Akhtar Khan, has announced that the government is fully supporting the promotion of local manufacturing and technology. He made this statement while addressing the inauguration ceremony of a project in Lahore aimed at the local manufacturing of electronic products by a leading Chinese company.

According to Radio Pakistan, Haroon Akhtar Khan emphasized that this collaboration will not only bring modern technology to the country but will also generate new job opportunities for the local population. He highlighted the potential of Pakistani industries to produce world-class products, which could significantly boost the local economy.

Haroon Akhtar Khan further elaborated that the national tariff policy is designed to create a conducive environment for investors, primarily through the reduction of production costs. This policy is expected to attract more investments, thereby enhancing the local manufacturing landscape and contributing to sustainable economic growth.
