Govt Implements Measures to Boost Welfare of Working Class: Awn Chaudhry

Islamabad: The government is taking practical measures to improve the quality of life of the working class by ensuring their welfare, providing quality education to their children, offering residential facilities, and undertaking other welfare initiatives. This was stated by Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Muhammad Awn Chaudhry during his visit to the Workers Welfare Fund Secretariat in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister of State appreciated the initiatives taken by the Workers Welfare Fund to digitalize its systems and bring the institution in line with modern technology. He commended the Workers Welfare Fund’s cashless policy aimed at ensuring transparency and meritocracy in its operations.

Earlier, upon arrival, Secretary Workers Welfare Fund Zulfiqar Ahmed, along with senior officers, warmly received the Minister of State. On the occasion, the Minister of State was briefed about the ongoing welfare projects of the Fund as well as the facilities being provided to industrial workers and their families.
