Govt Initiatives to Enhance Pre-Litigation Mediation: Azam Nazeer

Islamabad: Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has announced that the government is actively working on legal initiatives aimed at promoting the resolution of disputes before they escalate to court proceedings. These measures are part of a broader strategy to streamline the justice system and reduce the burden on courts.

According to Radio Pakistan, Senator Tarar shared these insights while addressing participants at a five-day training program focused on Civil, Commercial, and Shariah-Integrated Mediation for Ulema. The event took place during his visit to Islamabad, where he underscored the importance of pre-litigation mediation as a critical tool for conflict resolution.

The Minister further emphasized that efforts are underway to enhance the effectiveness of pre-litigation mediation mechanisms, particularly in specific areas of legal concern. This initiative is expected to facilitate quicker and more amicable settlements, benefiting all parties involved and contributing to a more efficient judicial process.
