Govt Launches Comprehensive Strategy for Technological Advancement: Shaza

Islamabad: Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja has announced that the government is actively pursuing a comprehensive strategy to enhance the quality of life through technological means. During a ceremony in Islamabad marking the completion of Pakistan’s ten-year digital roadmap, she outlined the government’s vision for a technologically advanced nation.

According to Radio Pakistan, the initiative, termed ‘Digital Nation Pakistan,’ is seen as a revolutionary step towards making life easier for citizens through technology, enabling access to services with just a click of a button. The minister emphasized the government’s focus on E-governance, Artificial Intelligence, and data security as key areas of development.

Shaza Fatima highlighted that the digital economy would play a central role in streamlining the country’s economic framework, enhancing efficiency and transparency. She underscored the importance of a cashless economy as a fundamental aspect of this digital transformation.

Furthermore, the Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering the youth by providing opportunities in the IT sector, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the demands of the modern era.
