Govt Looking to Diversify Funding Options for Green Projects: Aurangzeb

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced that the government is seeking to expand its funding sources for green projects. Addressing the Breathe Pakistan International Climate Change Conference, Aurangzeb highlighted the government’s initiative to introduce a 250 million dollar Panda bond, specifying its role as a green bond.

According to Radio Pakistan, Aurangzeb also addressed the importance of multilateral support, citing contributions from the World Bank and Asian Development Bank for climate-related projects. He stressed the necessity for effective utilization of resources to tackle climate change.
