Govt Pledges Comprehensive Support for Sikh Pilgrims: Yousaf

Hassan abdal: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf emphasized the government’s commitment to providing comprehensive support to Sikh pilgrims. During a ceremony in Hassan Abdal, he assured that Pakistan warmly welcomes Sikh pilgrims from around the world, highlighting the nation’s peaceful and hospitable nature.

According to Radio Pakistan, the government is actively involved in the renovation and beautification of Sikh Gurdwaras across the country. This initiative underscores Pakistan’s dedication to facilitating religious practices for Sikh visitors.

Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Kesoo Mal Kheal Das reiterated that minorities in Pakistan enjoy equal status alongside their Muslim counterparts. He noted that Pakistan permits religious minorities, particularly Sikhs and Hindus, to freely visit their places of worship.

Punjab Minister for Minorities Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora also attended the ceremony, where he emphasized Pakistan’s promotion of peace, love, and harmony. He remarked on the unparalleled love and respect extended to Sikh pilgrims in the country.
