Govt Pledges to Enhance Forest Rangers’ Training and Performance: CM Punjab

Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the provincial government’s commitment to enhancing the training and performance of forest rangers. In a statement made on International Forest Rangers Day, she underscored the critical role these professionals play in safeguarding the environment.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister highlighted that the observance of International Forest Rangers Day aims to raise public awareness about the significance of forest protection. She lauded the forest rangers for their invaluable contribution to preserving natural resources.

Maryam Nawaz stressed that forest protection is of national importance and urged the public to support the rangers’ efforts. She referred to forest guards as “environmental heroes” and recognized their crucial role in maintaining ecological balance throughout Punjab.
