Govt Pledges to Eradicate Polio with New Vaccination Campaign

Karachi: Federal Minister for National Health Services and Regulations Syed Mustafa Kamal has affirmed the government’s determination to eradicate polio from the country. Speaking to media personnel in Karachi, he emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts from all societal stakeholders in combating the disease.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mustafa Kamal announced that the upcoming anti-polio vaccination campaign is set to commence on the 21st of this month. He highlighted that vaccination serves as the sole remedy to eliminate polio and urged parents to ensure their children receive the necessary vaccines.

The Minister’s call to action underscores the government’s ongoing efforts to rid the country of polio, stressing the critical role of public participation in the success of the vaccination campaign.
