Govt Prioritizes Financial Access for Agriculturists and SMEs: Bilal

Islamabad: Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani has announced that the government is prioritizing improved access to finance for agriculturists and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as a strategy to stimulate economic growth. Speaking at the Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit, the Minister emphasized the need for enhanced financial support to these sectors.

According to Radio Pakistan, Kayani stated that boosting exports is crucial for maintaining higher levels of foreign exchange reserves and avoiding the repetitive cycle of economic booms and busts. The minister underscored the importance of a stable economic framework to ensure long-term growth and stability.

Additionally, the Minister of State discussed the government’s recent budgetary measures aimed at facilitating private sector growth and stimulating business activities. These initiatives are part of a broader effort to create a more conducive environment for economic expansion and resilience.
