Govt Prioritizes Youth Empowerment Through Education and Technology: Tarar

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, emphasized the government’s commitment to youth empowerment through education and technology during a virtual address at Leads University’s convocation on Sunday. Highlighting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s focus on self-reliance for the youth, Tarar underscored the importance of providing quality education to equip young individuals with the necessary skills for their future.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar noted that around 60 percent of Pakistan’s population consists of young people, making their empowerment a top government priority. An initiative to distribute 100,000 laptops to talented students was highlighted as a key program to enhance youth skills, create opportunities, and bring national pride.

Tarar congratulated the graduates and their families on their achievements, wishing them success in their future endeavors. He also commended the faculty and staff of Leads University for their dedication to quality education, asserting that teaching is a noble profession deserving of respect and appreciation.
