Govt ready for dialogue with all to address concerns: Naqvi

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the government will not allow any parallel judicial system in the country by banned organizations.

He was addressing a news conference in Islamabad this evening, in the backdrop of ban on the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement

The Minister said no one has any objection on raising voice for rights, but attempts to stoke hatred and ethnic division cannot be tolerated.

He said PTM has long been involved in using abusive language against state institutions and the police. He said that following the ban on PTM, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan governments placed 54 and 34 individuals in the fourth schedule, respectively. He said if an organization is declared a proscribed entity, its offices are sealed, bank accounts closed, arms licenses, passports, and identity cards are canceled, along with media and travel restrictions.

Mohsin Naqvi made it clear that facilitators and abettors of the banned organizations will also face the same restrictions as per the law.
