Govt Taking Steps for Modern Public Transport System in Sindh: Sharjeel

Karachi: Senior Sindh Minister for Information and Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that the government is actively working towards establishing a modern, eco-friendly, and sustainable public transport system in the province. During a review meeting on the Red Line BRT project in Karachi, the minister emphasized the importance of accelerating efforts to complete the project promptly for the benefit of the public.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also saw representatives from the Asian Development Bank expressing their full support for the initiative. The stakeholders involved were urged to intensify their efforts to ensure the early completion of the Red Line BRT project, which is expected to significantly improve urban mobility in Karachi.
