Karachi: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik says the government is working to develop a competitive, investment-friendly petroleum sector aligned with the country’s long-term energy requirements.
According to Radio Pakistan, in his separate meetings with the leadership of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pakistan State Oil in Karachi, Malik called for utilizing digital technology to improve efficiency and timely response in the petroleum sector. The minister emphasized the importance of incorporating digital advancements to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness within the industry.
Ali Pervaiz Malik highlighted that reforms are being carried out in exploration, refining, and downstream markets. These reforms aim to create a more robust and efficient petroleum sector capable of meeting future energy needs while attracting investments.
