Govt Working to Provide All Facilities to Exporters: PM

Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that the government is actively working to provide all possible facilities to businessmen and exporters to boost the country’s exports.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting he chaired in Lahore, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized that increasing exports is essential for the country’s economic advancement. He underscored the importance of promoting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to enhance exports and create employment opportunities.

The Prime Minister instructed the Federal Ministers for Commerce, Industries and Production, and National Food Security to personally visit exporters in various industrial and commercial cities. He stressed the need for stronger coordination with the provinces to promote the cold chain and other sectors connected to industry and trade.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister received a briefing on the exports and imports recorded so far in the fiscal year 2025-2026.
