Green Line Project for Karachi among Top Priorities: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said provision of the best transport facilities to the people of Karachi through the Green Line project remains a top priority for the Federal Government. He was talking to a delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan led by MQM Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in Islamabad on Wednesday for consultations on the upcoming federal budget.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister assured the delegation that the work on the K-4 project will be accelerated. He further said instructions have already been issued to expedite work on the Karachi-Hyderabad package. The delegation presented its suggestions for the upcoming federal budget.

The delegation also included Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal, Members of the National Assembly Amin-ul-Haque, Dr Farooq Sattar and Jawed Hanif.
