Grenade Attack Injures 12 in Srinagar Market

Srinagar: A grenade explosion in a busy market area of Srinagar, in the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in injuries to at least 12 individuals yesterday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred near the TRC at the Sunday Market in Srinagar district, where the explosive device was detonated amidst the crowd. The victims were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and are reported to be stable, suffering only minor injuries from splinters.

Following the attack, security forces immediately sealed off the area to conduct a search operation intended to locate and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
