Gurpatwant Singh Announces Canada’s Approval for Khalistan Referendum

Ottawa: Leader of ‘Sikhs for Justice’ movement Gurpatwant Singh has announced Canada’s formal approval for the Khalistan referendum.

According to Radio Pakistan, Gurpatwant Singh, in a statement, said the Khalistan referendum will be held on the 23rd of this month. He mentioned that as per the Canadian government’s approval, the referendum will take place at Billings Estate in Ottawa.

He stated that the government’s approval confirms Canada’s commitment to freedom of expression, political participation, and the democratic process.

Gurpatwant Singh emphasized that the referendum represents a peaceful struggle through voting, rather than violence, to free Punjab from Indian occupation.

He urged the entire Sikh community to exercise their right to vote to free Punjab from India’s occupation.
