Gwadar Expands Free Ambulance Service to All District Patients Amidst Confusion

Gwadar: The Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar has clarified that the free ambulance service, previously misunderstood as exclusive to Gwadar city, is in fact available to all poor patients throughout the district. This announcement comes in response to widespread confusion among residents of Tehsil Pasni and Ormara.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the free ambulance service aims to ensure equitable healthcare access across the entire district. To utilize the service, patients must adhere to strict guidelines, including mandatory referrals from specific hospitals—CEO of GDA Hospital in Tehsil Gwadar, Omani Grant Hospital in Tehsil Pasni, and Durman Ja Hospital in Tehsil Ormara. Referrals from other authorities will not be recognized, and strict actions will be enforced for any violations of these regulations.

Residents seeking more information about the ambulance service or needing to arrange transport can contact the Free Ambulance Incharge, Jamal Rahim, directly.
