Habib Bank Limited and Emirates airline enter into an alliance

Karachi, November 27, 2014 (PPI-OT): HBL entered into an exclusive alliance with Emirates airline to offer HBL CreditCard customers discount offerings on online ticket purchases. This makes HBL the only bank this year to partner with Emirates airline.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Nauman K. Dar – President and CEO, HBL and Mr. Khalid Bardan – Emirates’ Vice President -Pakistan. Also present at the occasion were Ms. Sima Kamil – Head Global Branch Banking, Mr. Aamir Kureshi – Global Consumer Banking Head and other senior officials of both Emirates airline and HBL.

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Nauman K. Dar said, “We are delighted to collaborate with Emirates airline. This complements the market standing of both organizations. With this endeavor, we foresee a long term strategic relationship with Emirates airline to fulfill a shared ambition of providing customers with a premium range of products and services”.

Through this alliance, HBL will capitalize on the increasing trend of e-commerce in the country by offering exclusive discounts to customers and further strengthen its position in the market.
