Hanif Abbasi Launches Anti-Encroachment Drive to Reclaim Railway Land

Rawalpindi: Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has announced a proactive anti-encroachment initiative aimed at reclaiming all railway land that has been encroached upon. Speaking to media personnel in Rawalpindi, Abbasi asserted that the drive is being conducted without any biases or consideration of external influences. He emphasized that the operation would proceed with full support from the Punjab government to ensure the recovery of illegally occupied railway properties.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hanif Abbasi expressed his satisfaction with the country’s improving economic indicators, noting that international rating agencies have acknowledged Pakistan’s positive economic trajectory. He highlighted recent reductions in both inflation and the policy rate, attributing these developments to the policies of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N), which he described as focusing on performance-driven politics.
