Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized the need to inculcate the ideology of Allama Muhammad Iqbal in the youth to overcome extremism in the country. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he stated that directives have been issued to the Higher Education Commission to include the poetry of Iqbal in the curriculum.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal mentioned that the government will provide funds for the revival of Iqbal Academy. He added that the ideology of Allama Iqbal can be beneficial for achieving the goals set by the government under the banner of ‘Uraan Pakistan’.
