Karachi: Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited has announced plans for its forthcoming 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for October 26, 2024. The primary focus of the meeting will be the election of directors, a key notice to shareholders that will be published in prominent national newspapers.

According to the company secretary, Fraz Amjad Khawaja, the company has issued notices under section 159(4) of The Companies Act, 2017, which detail the names of individuals intending to offer themselves for election at the AGM. This notice will be published in English in the Daily The Nation and in Urdu in the Daily Nawa e Waqt on October 19, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the advance announcement of these nominations is a compliance requirement aimed at ensuring transparency and allowing shareholders adequate time to consider the candidates.

The letter, addressed to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, also indicates that copies of the newspaper advertisements will be shared with the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange.
