Hot and Dry Conditions Prevail Across Balochistan; Rain Expected in Hub and Lasbela

Quetta: Balochistan is experiencing predominantly hot and dry weather, with most districts in the province expected to maintain these conditions on Thursday, as reported by the Regional Meteorological Center Balochistan. However, there are forecasts of potential rain accompanied by thunderstorms in a few areas including Hub and Lasbela. The weather pattern is likely to continue into Friday, maintaining the hot and dry conditions across the majority of the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the last 24 hours saw some of the highest temperatures across the province with Nokundi reaching a maximum of 41 degrees Celsius. Other areas also reported high temperatures with Dalbandin at 40 degrees Celsius, Turbat at 39, Lasbela at 38, Quetta at 34, and Gwadar at a relatively cooler 27 degrees Celsius. These conditions underscore the ongoing heat experienced across the region.

Residents and visitors in the areas forecasted for rain are advised to stay updated on the weather as conditions can change rapidly, especially in areas prone to sudden thunderstorms.
