Hot and Dry Weather Expected Over Most Parts of the Country

Islamabad: Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, partly cloudy weather with rain-windstorm or thundershower is expected at isolated places in upper and central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad, Pothohar region, Northeastern Punjab, and lower Sindh.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded in major cities this morning were as follows: Islamabad at twenty-three degrees centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar at twenty-six, Karachi at twenty-eight, Quetta at seventeen, Gilgit at fifteen, Murree at twelve, and Muzafarabad at sixteen degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thunderstorm in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, and Shopian. Meanwhile, partly cloudy weather is expected in Leh, Anantnag, and Baramula. The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas were: Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula at twelve degrees centigrade, Srinagar at thirteen, Jammu at twenty-four, Leh at two, and Anantnag at eleven degrees centigrade.
