Islamabad: Hot and very humid weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, certain regions may experience a relief in the form of rain with wind and thundershower expected at isolated places, specifically in Northeast Punjab, Potohar region, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.
According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at twenty-six degrees centigrade, Lahore at thirty, Karachi and Peshawar at twenty-eight, Quetta at twenty-three, Gilgit at nineteen, Murree at sixteen, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-five degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thundershowers expected in areas including Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula, and Leh. This morning, temperatures in these areas were recorded as: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at eighteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-seven, Leh at ten, and Pulwama and Baramula at nineteen degrees centigrade.
