Hot, Dry Weather Forecasted for Most Parts of Country

Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, with very hot conditions in plain areas. However, partly cloudy weather accompanied by rain-wind and thunderstorms is anticipated at isolated locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan during the evening and night.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded in major cities this morning were as follows: Islamabad and Peshawar at twenty-six degrees centigrade, Lahore at thirty-one, Karachi at twenty-nine, Quetta at twenty-two, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad at twenty-one, and Murree at seventeen degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates hot and dry weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with dry conditions in Leh. This morning, temperatures were recorded as: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at seventeen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-six, Leh at seven, and Pulwama and Baramula at sixteen degrees centigrade.
