Hot, Very Humid Weather Forecasted to Continue Across the Country

Islamabad: Hot and very humid weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, there are expectations of rain-wind and thundershowers at isolated spots in Northeastern Punjab, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities stood at: Islamabad twenty-three degrees centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar twenty-seven, Karachi twenty-nine, Quetta twenty-four, Gilgit twenty-two, Murree sixteen, and Muzafarabad twenty-five degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates that partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind with thundershowers is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. This morning, temperatures in these areas were recorded as follows: Srinagar and Shopian eighteen degrees centigrade, Jammu twenty-five, Leh eleven, and Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula nineteen degrees centigrade.
