Hundreds of Islamic Books Seized from Shops in IIOJK

Srinagar: In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hundreds of Islamic books have been seized from various shops. The reason behind the confiscation was that these books were published by New Delhi-based Markazi Maktaba Islami Publishers, which is associated with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

According to Radio Pakistan, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders have strongly condemned the confiscation, stating that this action is not only unjust but also unconstitutional and a blatant violation of fundamental rights. They emphasized that imposing such restrictions is unacceptable in any civilized society.

The confiscation of Islamic books by the Modi government is seen as another clear example of its anti-Muslim ideology, further fueling tensions in the region. The Jamaat-e-Islami leaders have urged for the immediate reversal of this decision and called for respect of religious freedom and fundamental rights in the area.
