IG Islamabad Reviews Security Related Matters During Ramazan

Islamabad: A high-level meeting presided over by Inspector General Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi in Islamabad has reviewed security related matters during the holy month of Ramazan.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, he instructed senior police officials to maintain foolproof security in the federal capital throughout the holy month. The IG Police emphasized that strict security must be provided at mosques, imambargahs, and Ramazan markets.

He directed all officers to remain alert in the field and personally brief staff regarding their specific duties. He further directed to conduct special patrolling during Fajr prayer, Iftar, and Taraweeh timings. The IG Police reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority of Islamabad Police.
