IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Continues Mission of Providing Homes to Families of Police Martyrs

Rahim yar khan: Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s mission of providing shelter to the families of police martyrs continues. In this regard, IG Punjab has handed over a house to the family of another police officer who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.

According to Punjab Police, a house worth Rs. 17.5 million has been purchased for the family of Shaheed Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ramzan. The house was purchased in a private housing society in Rahim Yar Khan, as per the family’s preference. Shaheed Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ramzan embraced martyrdom in 2024 during an encounter with proclaimed offenders. His family includes his wife, three sons, and one daughter.

Due to the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released funds for the house of the martyr’s family. IG Punjab paid tribute to the ultimate sacrifice of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ramzan, stating that he laid down his life in the line of duty without regard for his own safety. IG Punjab further said that Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifices of its brave martyrs.
